The collaboration we’ve all been waiting for has almost arrived! The flyest vintage WNBA fitted hats are dropping December 13th at 12pm ET, so set a reminder now. Basketball media and lifestyle platform, Made for the W, has collaborated with hat company, Lids, to release a new limited edition cap collection.
“The bottom line is that we want fly products too, and we’re making it happen!” Made for the W Co-Founder, Melani Carter, told Queen Ballers Club.
The first of its kind women’s fitted hat collaboration features the original eight WNBA teams including the Charlotte Sting, New York Liberty, Houston Comets, Los Angeles Sparks, Sacramento Monarchs, and more. The hats are made from 100% woven polyester and feature Lids’ signature structured fit. Find the perfect look for your collection and wardrobe!
While this project is a year in the half in the making, it’s part of Made for the W and Melani Carter’s, life long mission to change the way women and our sports are represented.
“This first of its kind collection is a nod to the first 8 WNBA teams that started the league’s inaugural season. This collaboration is fitting for us as at Made for the W, as our platform was started to bring visibility specifically to women’s basketball.” Melani said.
