Athletes Unlimited and Topps have teamed up to publish the first-ever set of trading cards featuring all four Athletes Unlimited sports – basketball, softball, lacrosse, and volleyball – in one set.
The 200-card base set includes a whopping 185 athletes and is available at major retailers, hobby shops, and online through the Topps website starting today, and the Fanatics website in two weeks. But that’s not all! Fans can also collect several themed sets within the product, including Being Unlimited, Record Breakers, and the rare Topps Black Gold cards, which are limited to only 250 copies per featured athlete.
It doesn’t stop there. This set includes autograph cards from 85 Athletes Unlimited athletes (each hobby box delivers 2 autograph cards), as well as cards that contain a piece of embedded memorabilia, known as relic cards. And for the collectors out there, every base card has limited versions, called parallels. These include Gold Foilboard Parallels, limited to 1 in every 24 packs, and the unique Foilfractor Parallel, which is numbered 1/1.
What’s even more exciting is that this is the first set to feature athletes from all four sports in one combined set, marking a significant milestone for women’s sports.
