Basketball is art – and today’s tees bring that home to a T! Pōetrē in Motion, brought to life by Gerard Fajardo, designs and produces artful merchandise out of Los Angeles, California. As Poetre in Motion’s first Black Friday ever, they wanted to surprise hoopers with something special, rather than having a sale. As a result, the brand re-produced two of their favorite designs they’ve ever made: the Hang Time at the Getty Tee and the Disruptive (Rodman) Tee.
The Hang Time tee was influenced by a vintage poster photograph from 2002 of Kobe Bryant at The Getty Museum captioned, “HANG TIME AT THE GETTY.”
The Disruptive (Rodman) Tee features an oil painting design inspired by the many hairstyles of Dennis Rodman, and his disruptive, iconic presence to game of basketball and life.
The shirts are made from 100% cotton and feature a 6.5oz medium weight jersey, perfect for hoopers after a game or for a night out. You can expect a standard fit and length; so for a looser fit, they recommend sizing up.
