After months of hooping together, Los-Angeles-based Creative Hoop Project partnered up with the team at New Jersey Sets to create a mesh short featuring three unique coffee-inspired color ways: Latte; Macchiato; and Cold Brew.
The inspiration for the Coffee Capsule came from the everyday consumption of caffeine. Together, CHP and NJS decided to come up with three colorways to represent the three general types of coffee that people would drink: dark, medium, and light. It was a unique idea, and Kooky, a designer at NJS, did a great job capturing the colors for the mesh shorts, which was key.
“The hardest part honestly was just deciding whether the colors were the right ones. We wanted to use browns that were attractive to the eye and could fit well with different skin tones. Other than that, working with NJS actually made it very easy.” shared Kris, the Founder of Creative Hoop Project.
But, they nailed it. “I am most excited on how the colors came out. Each color way has a different energy. The “LATTE” is such a stand out color, I love it. The “COLD BREW” is simple, but bold enough to make an impression. The “MACCHIATO” is a little bit of both and can work with a lot of outfits.” explained Kris.
“It’s also awesome to see all of the CHP community rocking their shorts. Coffee truly is something that brings people together and I’m glad this project was a success. Shout out to Kevin, Kooky, and the rest of the team at New Jersey Sets!” he continued.
